These days, we all tend to be rather too busy and too nervous. However, there exists a place in Poland where everyone can calm down and slow down their life. This place is called Nałęczów.

It is located in one of the warmest regions in Poland and has a specific microclimate which reduces one’s blood pressure. The surrounding area is full of gullies created by waters which ran there in the past, while an abundance of underground mineral waters helped form the ideal climate to cure cardiac patients. Just add lovely views and lush vegetation, and you see the perfect place to relax.

Water-bearing deposits

An unquestionable asset of the Nałęczów health resort is its crystal clear water.

The Nałęczów commune is situated on the Nałęczów Plateau, almost in the centre of the Lublin Trough groundwater deposit. It is one of the largest water reservoirs in Poland, with the area of about 7500 km². It is characterised by very good water quality and high resources. The underground water occurs in cracked, fissured rocks of Cretaceous age, such as marls, limestones and gaizes, which saturate it with many valuable minerals.

Cisowianka water is extracted from deep water-bearing strata, and is an important element contributing to the microclimate of the place. Research into the age of the water has shown that it is about 400 years old, which means that the last time it came into contact with the outer environment was in the 17^th century. The water comes from a depth of about 100 metres and is bottled on site, which preserves its quality and unique parameters.

The Małachowski Palace is inseparably connected with the rich tradition of the Nałęczów health resort and its thriving social life. This majestic building in baroque style was erected in the very heart of the town – the Spa Park, and today, as the most valuable monument of Nałęczów, continues to captivate its visitors with its grandeur.
